Renovation of a 122m² apartment in Lyon

The Composite Apartment is a full renovation of a 122 m² Haussmann-style apartment in Lyon. The goal was to preserve the historical charm while introducing a contemporary touch. The design plays with volumes, colors, and levels to define distinct yet harmonious spaces, creating an immersive and balanced living experience.

Architectural Plans

From the very first year, we were required to produce detailed technical drawings. Although all documents were still drafted by hand, we were expected to develop complete projects incorporating the full range of technical plans required for construction. These included plasterboard layout plans, floor tiling layouts, wall finish drawings, and electrical plans. This process provided an early understanding of the technical and construction-related aspects of architectural design.

Interior Detail Study

As part of a comprehensive design development process, detailed presentation sheets were created for key spaces throughout the project. Each A3 board brings together plans, perspectives, material selections, furniture specifications, and visual references, providing a complete and immersive representation of the design. This approach allows every aspect of the project to be explored with precision while clearly conveying the intended spatial experience and architectural vision.
